Might also help to include speakers from outside the design profession. Perhaps someone from the environmental community or the political arena, or an international AIDS worker. Someone who works with the products that designers create and who has something meaningful (and relevant to the conference topic) to say about that experience. I think it would help provide some outside perspective and might lead to some excellent partnerships (between industries).
